We, Nihon Database Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. (or NDK), offer newspaper article data of Yomiuri Shimbun and The Daily Yomiuri exclusively for researchers and research institutions.
We intend to support further development of research on Japan in fields such as linguistics, informatics, or media study with the quality data originally provided by the Yomiuri Shimbun.
All the articles published in Yomiuri Simbun, excluding those on which the Yomiuri Shimbun has no copyright, since 1987 are available. For The Daily Yomiuri articles, those published after 1989 are offered. Each data record contains title, publication date, and body text. |

Articles are provided in a CD-ROM by each year of original publication. For those articles published after 1999, a pair of CDs each containing artcile data published in the first and latter half of the year is offered.
